Marea White
CEO
Marea White founded fido fido Dog Daycare & Boarding in 2006 after leaving a career at CNN, where she managed publicity for the network’s documentary series. She currently serves as the company’s CEO. She worked for many years alongside her father, Sylman Battle, who served as CFO until his death in 2022. As a consumer of dog boarding, she saw an opportunity to improve how dog care and customer service were delivered. As a dog owner, she knew there were others who viewed their dogs as more than backyard pets—but as family members. Today, more than 19 years later, fido fido Dog Daycare & Boarding has faithfully served thousands of dogs and their families, impacting the local community by providing a trusted service. She is married, has one child, and her family is proud to be parents of three rescue dogs: Marlie, Za Za, and King.
Cori
Supervisor, Client Care
Cori’s journey in pet care began with a desire to create meaningful bonds with animals and to offer them unconditional love. She strives to understand the minds of animals to meet their individual needs. She has six years of pet care experience. Her commitment to safety and well-being is supported by certifications in CPR and First Aid, Client Care, and Fire and Life Safety, ensuring she provides the highest standard of care for every animal she works with.
At home, she cares for two tabby cats and two dogs, a Chihuahua and a Rat Terrier. These companions enrich her daily life and deepen her practical experience in pet care. Her core values are integrity, compassion, and kindness. Her community involvement includes feeding the unhoused community.
Sarah
Supervisor, Operations
Sarah entered the pet care business because of her deep love for animals. This career allows her to spend time with pets and learn about their unique behaviors and personalities, which she finds incredibly fulfilling. Currently, she and her partner share their home with one cat named Tofu. Pets have always been a significant part of her family.
Respect forms the foundation of Sarah’s approach to pet care and her role as a supervisor at fido fido Dog Daycare & Boarding. By understanding and respecting how each animal functions, she can provide attention and care tailored to their individual needs. Respect also extends to herself and her team. Her team learns from her words and actions, so she strives to present her best self every day.
Jai
Operations Manager
Jai is a lifelong animal lover who shares a home with six dogs and two cats, each a rescued pet with a unique story. From tiny seniors to goofy giants, Jai’s pack reflects his passion for helping animals heal and thrive. With a background in fostering and rehoming pets for over a decade, he is especially committed to helping animals who carry trauma build trust and confidence.
With over 14 years of professional experience working with dogs, Jai brings a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and leadership to the team. As a Certified Master Groomer and an expert in handling large, aggressive breeds, he has spent years honing the skills needed to care for animals that others might overlook. In his role at fido fido Dog Daycare & Boarding, Jai is passionate about ensuring that both pets and their people receive the highest level of care and support.
